Genuine. Regional. Contemporary.
About us
What we stand for

Munde Biereck is where Black Forest heritage and modern living come together – rooted in home, shaped by vision.

The Black Forest experience – real, warm, and refined

What ‘home’ feels like

In the Black Forest, beauty isn’t just admired — it’s protected. Here, tradition and sustainability go hand in hand, and the new earns its place by fitting in naturally. That’s the foundation we build on. We choose local ingredients, cook timeless regional classics, and have a deep appreciation for wood. One house reflects a modern aesthetic, the other embraces traditional Black Forest charm — together, they show how heritage and contemporary design can coexist effortlessly. It’s a balance that feels just right.

From Roman trail to timeless escape

History

There’s always been life up on the Munde. Once, a Roman road linked the Elz and Kinzig valleys, and the old Höhengasthaus Biereck served beer and bites to travelers, carters, and forest workers. Times have changed — and so has Munde Biereck. Today, Munde Biereck is a retreat for those seeking more: leisure guests, locals, and seminar groups alike. Conversation now flows between espresso cups and open laptops. What was once a waystation is now a destination — for people who appreciate character, comfort, and a sense of quiet belonging.
